Current offers for students
Cancellation of the Individual Writing Counseling !
Dear students and doctoral candidates,
due to the increasing number of corona cases in Germany and the decisions recently made by the state government in this context, we initially cancel the Individual Writing Counseling until April 30th, 2020.
Unfortunately, we currently see no other option. We are deeply sorry and would like to apologize for any inconvenience this may cause!
Alternatively, you can contact us with questions and concerns about your writing projects via email at any time. If desired, you can also make a Skype or telephone appointment with us.

Cancellation of the tutor training for future tutors!
Dear future tutors and interested parties,
due to the increasing number of corona cases in Germany and the decisions recently made by the state government in this context, we initially cancel the tutor training for futre tutors in all departments.
Unfortunately, we currently see no other option. We are deeply sorry and would like to apologize for any inconvenience this may cause!
The next training is planned for the coming autumn. Further information will be published on our website during the semester.

Faculty offers for students and young researchers
Up-to-date Information:
Dear students and doctoral candidates,
at present, due to the current situation, we have little information on external offers on the topic of scientific writing. In principle, with a few exceptions, all university events are cancelled until April 20, 2020, as announced by JGU.
The following sites already provide online information about changes:
- The Psychotherapeutische Beratungsstelle (PBS) can only be reached by telephone or e-mail until further notice
- PHILIS´ personal writing counseling is limited to telephone calls and e-mails until further notice
- The Frühjahrsuniversität of the Career Service is cancelled with all events
- The SoWi?So!-Studienberatung of FB 02 is limited to telephone calls and e-mails until further notice
- The Workshops of the Allgemeines Promotionskolleg (APK) are cancelled until April 30th 2020, but will presumably be made up for at a later date.
- The InfoDays of the International Office at the beginning of summer semester 2020 are cancelled.
- The TextCafé of the AStA-Ausländer*innenreferat is limited to e-mails until further notice. Please contact international@asta.uni-mainz.de with your matriculation number and academic paper.
